From Launch to Buzz – B2B Finance Facebook Marketing Case Study
Corporate finance on Facebook? Well, well… When an established finance firm came to us, they'd barely touched social media marketing. Minimal presence, basically zero engagement, just plans. They needed those boring investment solutions (their words, not ours) to somehow become social media gold. Challenge accepted.

The Task
A respected corporate finance firm came to us with an ambitious vision: promote their business investment solutions through social media for the first time in their company's history.
Despite having an impressive portfolio of businesses they'd helped grow, they'd never seriously invested in social media marketing. With just 240 followers gathering dust on their Facebook page, this was essentially starting from scratch, and they needed experts (that's us, hi) to navigate these uncharted waters.
The Objective
Beyond generating general awareness for their investment solutions, our client had a specific goal in mind: to build a thriving, active Facebook presence they could rely on for long-term growth. They wanted a beautiful number of followers and, more importantly, an engaged community that would position them as trusted financial partners in the digital space. This meant creating a foundation for ongoing engagement, not just a one-time promotional push.
The Challenges
Let's be real for a sec. Corporate finance isn't exactly social media's favorite topic. While our client had accumulated hundreds of success stories from businesses they'd helped transform, the core challenge remained: how do you make investment solutions and financial services compelling on platforms designed for half-nude people, cat videos, and vacation photos?
They'd tried the typical brand-building stuff on their page before – corporate posts, industry updates, the usual suspects – but it fell flat. So they basically gave up. The topic felt inherently "unsocial" and reaching the right audience seemed nearly impossible through traditional social advertising approaches.
The Solution
Instead of forcing financial jargon down people’s feeds (nobody wants that), we flipped the script with a community-first social media marketing approach. We turned their “boring” financial offer into local success stories that communities actually wanted to read, share, and talk about.
So basically, we took their existing company success stories and started communicating them to relevant local communities instead of hardcore brand-building communication. This is how we did it.
Our Facebook Ad Management strategy was anything but conventional. We partnered with the businesses our client had previously helped, turning them into the heroes of our narrative. Using sophisticated microtargeting, we connected these success stories with the local communities who already knew and loved these businesses.
We strategically posted in locally relevant Facebook Groups, engaged with community pages, and created content that felt native to each area. We even asked the businesses to share our content on their pages too – turning them into authentic brand ambassadors.
Every post told a story of a local business that thrived – with our client's financial expertise quietly powering that success behind the scenes.
This approach to building an engaged Facebook community meant we weren't selling financial services; we were celebrating local victories. And communities love cheering for their hometown heroes.
The Results

This represents a complete transformation of our client's social media presence, turning them from social media skeptics into community champions. Their investment solutions found their voice on social media, proving that with the right strategy, even the most "traditional" industries can thrive in the digital space.
